Mahindra & Mahindra Limited Job Description:
- To Identify latest technologies/trends in global automotive trims
- Benchmark and data collection for new technologies and features
- Idea generation and concept preparation for future technologies
- To prepare road map for new technologies and preparing time plan
- Close coordination with CFT and supplier.
- Part cost and investment work out along with CFT and supplier for proof of concept (POC)
- To prepare proof of concept (proto and live demo) to showcase to management
Experience
- 6 to 10 yrs experience in Trim Design & new technology design and development at Automobile OEM or Tier 1.
- Industry Preferred
- Automotive
Qualifications
- Postgraduate/ Graduate in Mechanical/Automobile/CIPET
- At least one complete project design and development of IP system/Interior/ Exterior trims systems.
- At least one complete Technology design and development experience of Trims system.
- Expertise on plastic component design and knowledge and understanding of tooling and material used in automotive trims
- Sound knowledge of engineering and system documents like SOR, DFMEA, DVP, DFA, DOE etc.
- Hands on experience in Catia V5 and engineering data management systems.
- Knowledge of full vehicle development lifecycle
- Knowledge of Intellectual property Filing process
- Understanding of TRL (Technology readiness level) Philosophy and process.
- Knowledge of new technology proof of concept and development
- Awareness about AI, electronics and some level of programming to enable Trims technologies.
- General Requirements
