Job Description:
B.E./ B.Tech (any Engineering Discipline, with Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Preferred) with 2-4 years’ experience in plant operations preferableComputer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, ability to learn company-specific programs)2-4 years’ experience in a process plant environment preferredWilling to work in field for extended period of time which includes extensive walking during operator roundsExperience working in a small plant environment as field operator preferredExperience working with Process Equipment such as pumps, compressors, mechanical agitators and screw conveyorsAble to read and understand piping diagrams, process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and other technical documentsAble to communicate with internal company personnel, external vendors and client effectivelyAble to make routine decisions within a predetermined scope of authorityExposure to heights, noise, extreme weather conditions, and areas where hazardous chemicals are presentMust be able to work all shifts / schedules as needed within local regulationsAbility to adapt to changing situations and to handle competing demands with flexibilityMust be willing to do field jobs continuously
