Site Engineer act as day-to-day site activities on a construction site, and the main source of technical advice and quality control for everyone working on it. Roles and
responsibilities:
1. Should be able to understand working drawings provided by various consultants and guide concerned agencies for execution.
2. Should be able to line out the site as per the drawings and plan the execution schedule as per requirement.
3. Candidate should be capable enough to handle the site on his own.
4. Necessary to have good knowledge of quantity estimation and preparing BOQs.
5. Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
6. Must have awareness of latest technology and machineries.
7. Engineer has to prepare / check RA bills of contractors and all suppliers.
8. Should be responsible for quality control and co – ordination between contractors and vendors.
9. He should prepare and maintain progress charts and schedule bars.
10. Honesty, politeness and good communication skills are essential.
11. The role also involves levelling and surveying a site, checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations
12. Should be a good team leader
