Green Tiger Mobility Job Description:
As a Design Engineer, you are responsible for carrying out the design activities in Current Product Engineering and New Product Development Engineering. You are required to create CAD models BOM and detailed drawings/specifications for sub-systems of engineering assemblies.
Collaborate with product and engineering team to understand company needs and devise possible solutions.
Selection of materials and manufacturing processes like Injection moulding/ Die casting/ machining
Create 3D model designs to meet the defined functional requirements of the product
Exposure to standards on materials and safety for the design
Creation of manufacturing drawings
Creation of BOM for release of drawings for production
Perform design calculations for design validation
Develop sub-system designs and component-level designs
Perform engineering related activities like supplier interaction, field visits
Provide engineering support to sourcing/production teams
Requirements:
You have BE/ B.tech degree in Mechanical engineering and 3-5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering Design and Development mostly in Automotive sub-assemblies and components design.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Solidworks – 3D modelling and detailing
Communicate with customers, suppliers and team members
Knowledge of using simulation tools and design calculations is an added advantage
