Job purpose & ScopeImplement and maintain Quality Management System for Continual Improvement of the BEL Business Units – CP BU, Lighting BU, T&D BU & R&D Centre.Creating MIS report for QA function and monitor the progress in line with departmental Blueprint.
Major Areas of Responsibilities
Oversee effective implementation of the Quality Management System throughout all the business units of BEL.Maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification for all business units of BEL and initiate actions for timely certification/re-certification/surveillance audits.
Prepare Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) and establish processes across business to deploy QMS.
Maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) content and coordinate the issuing of these documents.
Coordinate the review of procedures associated with business continuous improvement initiatives.
Plan internal audits/ external QMS audits as per schedule and communicate to relevant stakeholders.
Monitor the audit progress as planned and co-ordinate with auditors and functions for timely completion of internal audits as per plan.
Host external quality system audits and support for smooth conduct of the audits.
Conduct internal audits and assist in training/guidance to other auditors.
Compilation of internal audit/external audit findings including audit non-conformities and prepare audit finding summary report.
Follows up with relevant functions for timely closure of audits findings.Collect inputs for the quality review meetings from respective functions and record outcome of the meetings.
Compiling minutes of meeting of all quality review meetings and follow up with respective stakeholders to timely completion of actions.
Coordinate with all QA functions and other functions to monitor progress on departmental Blueprint. Person Specifications
Essential Qualification: Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
Desired Qualification: BE or B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
Experience:5~7 Years of experience in quality management system.
Certified as internal auditor for ISO 9001:2015.
