Responsibilities:
Designing new switchgear products and finding creative design solutions to the problems Undertaking complex design calculations and analyzing tasks Ensuring components and sub-assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards Performing physical testing on prototypes and corrective actions accordingly Undertaking complex design calculations and analysis tasks Performing competitive benchmarking in conjunction with product management Establishing and maintaining testing procedures for assessing raw materials, in-process and finished products
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in related field
Experience designing and developing low voltage products like MCBs, RCCBs, (Protection Devices) will be an added advantage
Have an expertise in Creo, Windchill/ PDM & PLM software’s
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills enabling you to run multiple tasks simultaneously and meet targets and deadlines
Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence both internally and externally
