Responsibilities:
Stress Engineer should be able to perform piping stress analysis using Caesar II is must, experience using Autopipe/Rohr II software will be add-on advantage.
Perform analysis for sustained, thermal and multiple operating and occasional cases (viz wind, seismic, relief, hammer etc.) as per Design basis.
Perform pipe stress analysis for different equipment i.e., Steam turbine, Compressors, Centrifugal Pumps, tanks, exchangers, heaters, columns, Air coolers etc.
Ability to perform associated calculations of piping system i.e., Slug force, PSV force, trunnion checks and flange leakage check.
Well versed with preparation of stress critical line list, nozzle loads transmittals and vessel cleats, loading for pipe rack/ structures as an input to CSA.
Ability to review the model in 3D for possible/optimal routing changes, supporting for critical/non-critical lines etc.
Should have good communication skills
